What is baptism?
Baptism is an outward sign of your decision to follow Jesus. It is a public declaration of your faith in Him and your decision to live transformed. This marking moment symbolizes your re-birth into the Kingdom of God and that you've been rescued by God. Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
Why get baptized?
Baptism is a visual and symbolic demonstration of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ. It signifies that his former way of life has been put to death and depicts the raising up of a new life committed to following Christ. Baptism declares to the world you’ve trusted Jesus, joined God’s family, and made a commitment to follow Jesus, heart, and soul.
I was baptized as a baby/child can I be baptized again? I have been baptized at a different church can I get baptized again?
As stated above baptism is an outward expression of what is happening on the inside. If God is moving in your heart to be baptized then finish filling out the form below. You don’t have to get baptized every time you mess up or start a new chapter in life. If you were baptized at a previous church you don’t have to be baptized here at Radiant Life Church. Ultimately it is about the motivation of why you want to be baptized. Why are you wanting to be baptized? If you want to have a conversation about that please email Pastor Brandon at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to have my child baptized? As stated above baptism is an outward expression of what is happening on the inside. If your child is asking questions about Salvation, or what does it mean to follow Jesus, then let’s have a conversation. Email Pastor Brandon at email@example.com
We have a dedication class once per year hosted by our NextGen team. They would love to have a conversation with you about dedication. Please email either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
